Mr. Emerson is a highly accomplished attorney with over four decades of legal experience. He is the founder of Emerson Firm, PLLC and has successfully transitioned from his early days as trial counsel for large national insurance companies and self-insureds into the realm of mass tort, class action, and catastrophic injury law. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts from the esteemed University of Texas at Austin and his Juris Doctorate from South Texas College of Law in Houston.

Mr. Emerson is admitted to the Texas Bar and is licensed to practice before numerous federal and state courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court. He has garnered numerous accolades throughout his career, including the prestigious “AV Preeminent” rating from Martindale-Hubbell for his exceptional legal ability and ethical standards. Mr. Emerson also received recognition as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in America by the National Trial Lawyers for seven consecutive years between 2013 and 2020. Most recently, he achieved a significant resolution on a catastrophic brain injury case involving alleged malpractice by doctors and staff at CHI-St. Vincent Hot Springs in Hot Springs, AR.
